Four people were injured in a two-car accident on the Princes Highway, south of Moruya this morning.
A NSW police spokesperson said they received a call at 11.50am on Saturday, November 18, reporting an accident two kilometres south of Western Boundary Road, near Trunketabella, with both cars off the road and one flipped on its roof with a person trapped inside.
An SES spokesman said they were called to the scene, but when they arrived the person had extricated themselves from the vehicle. They remained to assist police and ambulance crews.
The road was closed earlier, but is open now, with traffic flowing normally. Emergency services caution drivers to take care in the wet. It is the second serious accident since Friday, November 17.
Transport Minister Andrew Constance spoke out on Friday’s accident, and the stretch of the highway known as the ‘mad mile’.
