Transport Minister Andrew Constance has called for a solution to the notorious section of the Princes Highway south of Batemans Bay known as the ‘Mad Mile’.
“Every accident is different, and I don’t know the cause of these accidents,” he said, speaking to the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner in Batemans Bay.
“What we do know is that it is a dangerous section of road, where a concentration of accidents are happening.
“In the mid- to long-term, we need to investigate and invest in solutions.
“If the concern is speed, we need to consider trying to change driver behaviour.”
