On a beautiful winter’s day, 12 Batemans Bay bushwalkers set off from Broulee for a walk along Bengello Beach to Moruya Airport and back. Travelling along the beach they were accompanied for two kilometres by a large pod of active dolphins surfing the calm conditions of the beach.

Conditions couldn’t have been more perfect for realising the beauty & charm of the nature we are so fortunate to have in the Eurobodalla with its pristine environment.
Reaching the windsock at the airport, they turned inland to walk through the Bangalay eucalyptus sand forest and its flat shaded track leading back to Broulee.
The group had the company of a long time member Bev Brazel, who pioneered & led this walk over 20 years ago.
