The Baby Boomers are a dance group of senior ladies who have been entertaining at aged care facilities and community events for many years, with an intention to keep doing so "for as long as they're able".
Along with excited Bay residents, The Baby Boomers danced along the walk and injected some fun into an already lively day.
Kerry Miller, Carol Haslam, Cheryl Harper, Fay Hall, Ineke Smith, Pat McCarthy, Beth Pearce and Lyn Whipps make up The Baby Boomers and are trained and choreographed by dance instructors from Kicks Danceforce.
"The Community Bridge Walk was a beautifully organised event and we thoroughly enjoyed adding an element of fun," Ms Miller said.
About 2000 people crossed the bridge throughout the day.
