Make time to check out the Botanic Garden gift shop, cafe and lovely green surrounds. The cafe has some lovely Christmas gifts, pottery and gifts with blue wrens on them. The wrens have always made their home at the gardens, but disappeared after the fires. I don't think they have returned. The cafe serves morning and afternoon teas and lunches, inside and out.
Belated birthday wishes to Jennifer Grinlinton, of Long Beach, and best wishes this week to Sandi Bye of Tuross Head.
