Thirteen members met at Cullendulla Nature Reserve on Square Head for a 5 km easy walk over the headland and down to the beach on Cullendulla Creek in search of orchids.
They were rewarded with a few early spring flowers lining the track - most notably a good sprinkling of the delicate pink terrestrial ladyfinger orchids (Caladenia carnea).
Walkers followed Cullendulla Creek west through mangroves and sheoaks, and found the last of the rat's tail orchids (Dockrilla teretifolia) flowering on sheoaks overhanging the water.
Down south in the Tilba area, 11 bushwalkers enjoyed a medium 8.5km hike to Little Dromedary in sunny weather conditions.
The track winds its way through a forest of dead lantana up to 2m high.
The view from the summit of Little Dromedary is quite spectacular and you get full 360 views west to Gulaga, north to Narooma, south to Bermagui and east down across the dairy farms to the coast.
Twelve walkers braved an early morning shower to arrive at Big Rock Road, Bodalla State Forest with clearing skies.
It turned out to be a beautiful day for the medium grade hike of 9.5kms.
Bodalla State Forest is one of the few state forests that wasn't decimated by recent bushfires.
The walk commenced alongside Big Rock Road where it wasn't long before the bushwalkers came upon ... a big granite rock!
A side trip to a creek revealed a log lying in the water that had been part of an old bridge used by loggers many decades ago.
Continuing back on the track, the walkers passed Reservoir Link Road which, yes, you guessed it, was a road that linked up to a water reservoir.

Dalmeny/Narooma bushwalkers put on three walks. Jan Thomas and 14 walkers roamed Punkally Creek, Shingle Hut Road, up the Never Never Track and into Dromedary Creek. Plenty of water flowed among cabbage tree palms, sassafras and tree ferns. The 5km walk finished at the junction of Dromedary and Punkally Creeks. Davey thanked Jan for the short 5km walk that took all morning. Maggie led five walkers from Surf Beach, Narooma, towards Glass House Rocks and returned via the Industrial area and bush to Surf Beach. A lovely 8km walk. On Saturday Amanda led a 6km walk in the Tarouga Creek area along Potato Point Rd. Eight headed through and around large granite boulders, with wild flowers blooming.
