Very sad news from Moruya this week with the passing of a legend, Ack (Raymond) Weyman. If you live in the Eurobodalla Shire it would be impossible not to know him.

A heart like Phar Lap, a true gentleman, an athlete of reknown, a friend to everyone. This is a hole in the community that can never be filled. My condolences to his wonderful family. Vale Ack we shall all miss you.
Isn't it great to know that there are some great guys in our community willing to stop what they are doing and help a damsel in distress?
That damsel, in distress because she had a flat tyre, was our gorgeous editor Kerrie O'Connor, on her way to a very important meeting (with me!).
Kerrie was inundated with offers of help and just wanted to give a shout out to those hunks that helped ... you know who you are!
Happy birthday tomorrow to gorgeous Anna Hewson, I hope Bronson and the boys spoil you rotten Anna!
I keep saying it's a small world but what are the chances ....? Ex pats from the Bay, Richard Langshaw and Michele Langshaw set sail on a cruise ship from Singapore to Darwin and the second day out ran smack bang into Jenny and John McCaskill from the Bay!
Gabe Foster will also be cutting into a big slice of birthday cake on Sunday. Have a great day Gabe.
Visitors from Sydney this week, Veronica and Steve Scully from Glebe, remarked how beautiful the Eurobodalla coast is. The Scullys were catching up with old friends.
That beautiful lady about town Julie Syne will finally get the keys to the door on Sunday ... well I'm sure she can't be much older than that anyway!
Have a great day Julie and get Allan to pamper you.
I can't forget to wish my stand in Gossip collector, Jenny Scott, a happy birthday for next Thursday.
Jenny is a well known social butterfly around town so I guess she will be having a very busy day!
The hair show at the Moruya TAFE last week was a real delight with the apprentice hairdressers showing us what they could do with panache!
Will Chamberlain from "Nook" salon at Mogo was one of the many shining stars. Will's models Liz McCrystal with a red "do", Yazzy Campbell, with a beehive and Mat Lambert, a hunky male model, really rocked their "do's"! (See Fashionista photo.)
