Lincoln Downs Resort hosted a Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Friday, October 4, and raised $1053. The resort paid tribute to all who attended and who contributed to this success.
Cancer Council's Pink Ribbon campaign aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research.
Every day in Australia around 50 women are diagnosed with breast or a gynaecological cancer.
Whether it's fundraising or hosting a pink event, wearing pink or getting active in pink, the Cancer Council is asking everyone to unite in pink to help Cancer Council beat women's cancers.
Breast and gynaecological cancers unfortunately touch everyone's life in one form or another, either directly or through the experience of family and friends.
The money you raise will help Cancer Council fight cancer through prevention programs, support services and world-class cancer research. Go to www.cancercouncilfundraising.com.au for more information.
