A Moruya SES spokesperson said a large tree took down power lines at Preddy's Wharf Road, Moruya Heads on Tuesday, June 4.
After the power was disconnected, Moruya SES crews and Essential Energy worked for two hours to cut the tree and make the area safe.
Batemans Bay SES said they were surprised their area did not cop more incidents after rain, wind and thunderstorms.
"We did however get called to Lilli Pilli to a tree that had been struck by lightning," they said.
"The tree didn't stand a chance, and our team made quick work of what was left behind."
