Australia Day eve ceremony in Narooma
Kick off with a ceremony at Narooma Golf Club on Friday, January 25, to celebrate the achievements of the local community.
Open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Cost: Free
Batemans Bay Australia Day breakfast and ceremony
Celebrate Australia Day with a ceremony, entertainment, activities for the children, a jumping castle and a delicious breakfast on the BBQ at Corrigans Beach Reserve, 59 Beach Road, Batehaven.
Starts 8am until 12pm. Free admission. Breakfast $5.00.
Tuross Head Australia Day breakfast and ceremony
Marine Rescue Tuross Head would like to invite the community and visitors to join us for an Australia Day celebration at beautiful One Tree Point, Tuross Boulevarde, Tuross Head.
There will be a delicious BBQ breakfast along with our local ice cream van. Starts 8am and runs to 11am.
Join in the celebrations and support our local Marine Rescue Team.
Moruya Australia Day breakfast and ceremony
The community and visitors are invited to our Australia Day celebration at Russ Martin Park, Shore Street, Moruya. Join us as the Australia Day awards are presented, held next to the beautiful Moruya River.
We will also be offering a delicious BBQ breakfast. For $5.00 you can enjoy an egg and bacon roll with your choice of tea, coffee or juice.
Starts 8.30am and runs to 10.30am. Free admission.
Narooma Australia Day breakfast
Narooma Surf Life Saving Club and Narooma Lions Club will be manning the barbeques at Narooma Main Beach on Australia Day.
Get together with friends, family and neighbours to celebrate what it means to be an Australian, and for a delicious BBQ breakfast. .
Runs from 8am to 10am. Admission free, breakfast, $6.
The Eurobodalla Agricultural Show
The show starts on Saturday and continues Sunday, at the Moruya Showgrounds.
It will be full of interesting events including horse ring events, wood chopping, competitions for local produce including food, plants, and animals with very strong competition ensuring quality exhibitions.
There is a fireworks display and lots of stalls displaying the many talents of local arts and crafts people. There are also competitions for the local stock, including cows, sheep, goats as well as dogs and cats.
Bells Super Family Carnival
The summer carnival beside the seaside at Corrigans Beach is a ritual for many enjoying the fireworks on Australia Day. Treat yourself and the kids to dagwood dogs and fairy floss, lots of fun rides for all ages with the giant slide and of course the big one - the ferris wheel!
From 7pm to 10pm (weather permitting).
Movie night in Tilba
Eastwood's Deli and Cooking School have teamed up with Tilba Valley Winery and Ale House to put on an outdoor cinema night screening classic Aussie movie The Castle!
Street food and signature brioche donuts by Eastwood's and all your favourite beverages available at the Winery bar. Bring a rug or a beanbag and settle in for a great evening under the stars.... ahh the serenity!
