After last week’s walk along the banks of our local Clyde River, some were comparing the differences between the two waterways.
Club members found the beauty of tree-lined sandstone cliffs, sometimes featuring rock orchids and the Shoalhaven’s sandy shores to be one of Nowra’s best kept secrets.
However, perhaps a touch of bias tends to favour the Clyde River even though walkers did enjoy their cruise, followed by a tasty, buffet lunch.
Batemans Bay Bushwalkers are a crew of around 200 members, with the shared goal of finding, exploring and enjoying the natural secrets of our corner of Australia.
We have two walks a week of various grades and visitors are welcome to join us.
