Joshua Schuster, Ella James and Hayden Louttit were among a group of 33 NSW Scouts presented with the ASM.
The presentation was made by Mr Neville Tomkins OAM, Chief Commissioner of Scouts NSW, following a message from the Governor of NSW, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d).
The Australian Scout Medallion is the highest award for a scout under 15 years of age to achieve.
It is a non-competitive program where each Scout takes part in adventure including overnight camps, hikes and leadership-based activities designed to encourage their personal, social and leadership skills.
The Batemans Bay Scout Group runs each Thursday night from 6.30pm-8.30pm. New scouts are always welcome.
