A Malua Bay man received twelve months good behaviour for assaulting an ambulance officer.
Matthew Peter Scott, 49, pleaded guilty in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, December 18.
His defence said that at the time of the offence Scott was experiencing a gap between mental health services and NDIS funding, and this contributed to his behaviour.
Handing down the sentence, magistrate Doug Dick said “we don’t ever want things back to this position again”.
