The group known as Cabbi, or Creative Arts Batemans Bay Incorporated, this school holidays has transformed the auditorium of Batemans Bay High School into its Spring Art & Craft Exhibition and Sale.
But hurry, don’t miss the show as it all ends this Sunday, October 8 at 2pm and is open daily from 10am to 4pm.
Art works include framed and unframed paintings, sculptures, wood turnings, fused glass homewares, jewellery and accessories, and handcrafted cards.
Each piece in the collection has been created by local artists and designers. Some are well-known in the Bay area and others are new to the region.
All are excited to be part of the local and evolving art movement, as it sees a swell of interest and an opportunity to put Batemans Bay on the map as a creative arts precinct and art lovers destination.
It’s all happening at the Batemans Bay High School, Beach Road, Batehaven, and entry to the Spring Sale is by gold coin donation.
Cabbi is a large membership of talented, creative people, hosting a number of creative art and craft events throughout the year and managing ‘The Gallery’ opened daily in Mogo, where a selected number of members sell their art and craft in a beautifully curated gallery/gift shop environment.
