I screamed over the phone in happiness when Natalie from The Village Centre called me with the good news!

First prize went to an equally happy Rachael Wade from Mossy Point and again a very excited Daniel Harvey from Malua Bay won third prize.

All locals, which was a big surprise because we love the visitors to come and spend up in our beautiful town.

Gorgeous Glenda Bishop from Vinnies celebrated her birthday last Saturday. Happy Belated Glenda.

Also enjoying a birthday last Sunday, Norma O'Connor of Moruya. Looking good for a Sexagenarian Norma....and for you naughty people who are wondering what Norma gets up to on all of those overseas holidays she goes on, a Sexagenarian  is a person in their 60's!

Sandra Williams, carer extraordinaire from Maranatha is celebrating tomorrow, so will no doubt be eating birthday cake as she does her rounds!

You will have to watch out in about a month to see me in my next two commercials which I filmed over two days in Sydney last week.

One is on the Klevaknife...(and it is) and the other is  called the Scoot booter which is a completely collapsible shopping trolley with wheels. Any day now plastic bags will be a no-no so I was happy to do a commercial which makes sense!

Noeleen Cowdroy (nee Brown)  will be getting breakfast in bed, delivered by her hunky hubby Graham next Tuesday. These two met and fell in love whilst still in high school.

A testament to true love. On inter school bus trips they would sit up the back holding hands whilst the rest of us would sing Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter. I might ring her up and sing it so they can have a reminisce!

Thank you to the very good looking ranger who just gave me a warning when I was on the wrong end of Corrigans Beach yesterday with my sister June's dog Jip.

What a hunk and what a nice way to let you know not to do it again, much appreciated. I am now armed with a brochure which tells me all the beaches where Jip can run free AND I don't end up with a BIG fine!

Joy Dillon is also celebrating next week, on Wednesday.

For once is still in the country to enjoy an Aussie birthday, maybe a Pavlova?
