Motorists can expect delays overnight this week on the Princes Highway as the Batemans Bay bridge lifting span is tested and serviced.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said, to reduce the impact on motorists, work would be carried out for up to three nights between 8pm and 3am from Monday, September 4, to Wednesday, September 6.
Temporary intermittent closures of the bridge will be in place on Monday, September 4, to test the bridge lift span and train bridge operators.
Servicing of the bridge will be carried out on Tuesday, September 5, and Wednesday, September 6, and is expected to have limited impact on traffic across the bridge.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow up to 15 minutes of extra travel time and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
