Roadsides along the shire’s sealed roads will be sprayed for weeds to reduce hazards caused by tree and shrub growth and protect road pavement from tree root damage.
A Eurobodalla Shire Council spokeswoman said the shire-wide spraying would begin on Monday, August 28 and conclude by Friday, September 29.
She said weeds would be sprayed with the chemicals Metsulfuron (Brush-Off) and Glyphosate (Roundup) and asked motorists to take care around the slow-moving work vehicles.
