Parking in the Batemans Bay CBD is currently time limited to ensure vehicle turnover in high-use areas.
The Eurobodalla Shire Council wants to know if the time limits are meeting community and business needs; developing surveys to find out the appropriate length of stay.
Private car parks – such as those provided by Village Centre, Bridge Plaza and BayLink – were not included in the surveys.
The council also sought feedback from people with a mobility (disabled) parking permit about their parking experiences.
The surveys were hand-delivered to businesses and property owners this week.
Community members were invited to complete the survey by Friday, June 23. The results will be considered by the Eurobodalla Local Traffic Committee before being presented to councillors.
