It’s been a quiet few weeks for SES in the Eurobodalla, so a crew of three packed up to assist inundated Sydney crews, following extensive storm damage in the area, over the weekend.
NSW SES Moruya unit commander Jeff McMahon said a crew of three had worked in the Mount Druitt area from Thursday, March 23, to Sunday, March 26.
He said he, Lloyd Jones and Lex King assisted with damage to property and clearing downed trees, following severe storms across the Sydney region earlier in the week.
“It is terrific to be able to help out other crews when we have some quiet time. I really appreciate working with such willing crew members from the Eurobodalla who are always happy to lend a hand,” Mr McMahon said.
