Eurobodalla residents are preparing to clean up the shire’s beaches, rivers, cycle ways and streets on Sunday, March 5.
Project officer Maree Cadman said all you needed to do was turn up at a site near you with a hat, sturdy footwear, sunscreen and water.
“It just takes an hour of your time to help clean up our beautiful shire,” Ms Cadman said.
“We also have some fantastic vouchers and prizes, donated by local businesses and organisations, to hand out on the day.
“It’s a great way to meet other people in your community.
“We provide all equipment and organise for the rubbish to be removed,” Ms Cadman said.
Last year, 305 community volunteers and students from 12 schools collected 68.4 cubic metres of rubbish from sites across Eurobodalla.
