The Member for Bega, Andrew Constance, is continuing as the NSW Minister for Transport and Infrastructure.
Mr Constance said he was focused on delivering key regional infrastructure.
”Projects like the Batemans Bay Bridge, the major upgrade of Merimbula and Moruya airports, and the Eden-port wharf extension remain important priorities for our region,” Mr Constance said.
He said other important infrastructure for the region included: a waste water service at Potato Point or Rosedale; improvements to major highways servicing the region; road realignment at Dignams Creek; and completion of the Batemans Bay spine road linking George Bass Drive to the Princess Highway.
“We have record spends across government and pleasingly we are seeing more money than ever before flow into regional areas and I am so excited about what this means for our local communities and their future,” Mr Constance said.
“There are more than 600 major infrastructure projects being delivered by the Berejiklian Government this year and I want make it very clear that it is our priority to ensure regions, just like ours, are not forgotten.”
