A six-year-old boy remains in Canberra Hospital after he was hit by a car driven by his mother in the Eurobodalla on Friday.
Far South Coast police said the woman was reversing from a driveway in North Batemans Bay at about 6.45pm on January 27 when the child was struck.
He was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital with head injuries and abrasions and was later taken to Canberra Hospital.
Police said the woman thought her two children were seated in the vehicle when she felt a bump under the car. She stopped the car and found her son under the rear of the vehicle.
Investigations continue.
