BEACH BLAZE: RFS crews were called to a bushfire at Surf Beach on Saturday.
Eurobodalla RFS crews have spent the weekend battling a bushfire at Surf Beach.
A spokesperson for the RFS said six trucks were sent to area surrounding Wimbie St at about 2.20pm on Saturday, January 20.
The spokesperson said that while there was no reported threat to property, aviation and heavy plant resources had been called on to assist the crews.
As of Sunday morning, the crews had brought the fire under control.
It is not known what caused the fire to start.
