As it’s the first Sunday in the month, a free guided walk will leave the Visitors Centre in the Gardens at 11am, which gives everyone time to enjoy their morning coffee and work up an appetite for lunch!
The volunteer guides on the day will be interested to hear of any special topics that visitors would like to follow up while walking, so why not arrive a few minutes ahead of time to talk about your interests? There is no need to book.
“Birds, Bees and Seeds” is a school holiday activity for kids on Tuesday, April 11. Bookings, on the Gardens website, www.erbg.org.au, are essential for this free activity.
Expect huge discounts on plants, as well as a cake stall, pre-loved books, handcrafts, a sausage sizzle, jumping castle and Berry Farm ice-cream at the Giant Plant Sale and Easter Fair between 9am and 2pm on Saturday, April 15.
Bring a box, barrow or trailer to take away the treasures you will find.
The Easter Bilby arrives at 10am.
