Eurobodalla Canine Club was well represented at the RSPCA Million Paws Walk on Sunday, putting on team demonstrations of beginner’s obedience through to more advanced training. Children and adults were happy to come and meet the dogs, learn new things about training and to have hands on involvement with our canines.

Several members from the team spent time with the public, actively promoting the qualities of proper training and handling of dogs, with members of the public signing up for the upcoming beginner classes which start on June 7.

On the trialling scene, some members travelled to Canberra to compete at the ACT State Obedience and Rally O Trials, with some great work being achieved and dogs gaining their respective titles.
On the Saturday, Helen Rand and Holly came 3rd with a score of 87/100 in CCD obedience and gained their 3rd pass at Rally Novice and their RN Title.
They require one more pass in CCD for their title and will be travelling to Bermagui on the long weekend to compete.
Lyn Watcham trialled three dogs over the weekend. Issy came 1st both days in Rally Excellent, Molly came 2nd in Rally Masters, and Riley came 1st in CDX Obedience and gained his title, as well as receiving the Jill Schmidt Open Encouragement award.
At the Port Stephens Obedience trials, Colin Walters and Meeka enjoyed a very successful weekend of competition, winning the CCD trial at both the morning and afternoon event, as well as gaining their CCD title. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement.
