The 10 CWA branches from Batemans Bay to Eden got together at the Moruya Golf Club to plan for 2022.
It was a full-day program where women listened to guest speakers, heard presentations of reports and debated on their next motion to present at the state CWA conference.
The group office bearers were also elected. Lynn Lawson of the Cobargo branch stepped up as Far South Coast Group president.
"I am still spinning," she said with elation.
Mrs Lawson said the conference was also a great opportunity for members to "renew friendships".
"It was wonderful to get together in such a lovely environment," she said.
As the program began, members engaged and contributed to "the more serious side" of CWA.
"It's not just tea and scones; the CWA is the biggest advocacy group for women in the state and country," Mrs Lawson said.
Each year, the Far South Coast Group votes on items to study and will present at the state conference.
Next year's suggestions to state were:
- Country of study - Bhutan
- Primary product - Kelp (seaweed)
- Woman of note - Katherine Hamlin
- Medical research - Ovarian cancer
