The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds for people in the south-east and tablelands of NSW, including parts of the South Coast.
At Mogo, the Moruya SES team helped recover a chicken coop that had blown away, and returned the chickens to their owner.
A spokesperson said crews had also removed a fallen tree blocking a Broulee driveway and another blocking a driveway in Moruya.
They were also called to a job at Tilba early this morning, where a tree blocked the Princes Highway, but were stood down while other services attended.
In the afternoon, the team was called to remove a palm tree that had damaged the roof of a house at Dalmeny.
Meanwhile, Batemans Bay SES were called to Malua Bay, where a fallen tree had taken down power lines and blocked two driveways.
A spokesperson said Essential Energy was at the scene.
Batemans Bay RFS was also called to a fire at Sandy Place, Long Beach.
A spokesperson said Long Beach and Durras Rural Fire Service crews also attended, before they were called to fires at Ulladulla.
On the water, Batemans Bay Marine Rescue said the conditions were rough all day.
"Only a couple of boats went out, but they only went out for a short time then came back," a spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said Marine Rescue training exercises at Narooma and Bermagui were called off for Saturday, August 10, because of wild weather.
The bureau has issued a gale warning for the Batemans Coast.
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service recommends that back country travel be postponed until conditions improve.
