“I served in the UN Transitional Authority in Cambodia in ‘93,” he said. “Pop was a commando in WWII, from ‘41 to ‘45.”
Mr Blanch served in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968: “ANZAC is a very good tradition – my father was a POW in the last war, so I’ve probably been quite influenced all the way through.”
