The Eurobodalla Riding for the Disabled Association’s (ERDA) head coach Sue Feeney took a team of riders to compete at this year’s ‘Royal'.
Ms Feeney said she had high hopes but was overwhelmed by the team’s success; many ribbons were won, and the show’s disabled-rider events ended with ERDA school-horse Harry judged the NSW horse of the year.
Success at Sydney Royal capped off a run of positive results for ERDA.
Just weeks before, ERDA coach Christine Vincent had won the Volunteer Encouragement award and Catherine Hulse won the Rider of the Year award for RDA(NSW) Southern Highland region.
“Both ladies will now be judged against riders and volunteers from the other regions in NSW,” Ms Feeney said.
“Both Chris and Cat have worked really hard this year to overcome big challenges and are very deserving.”
