Show secretary Mary Atkinson said everything ran smoothly over the two-day event.
“It was a terrific show,” she said.
“We were lucky with the weather.
“Although it rained on Saturday afternoon we still had a good turnout.
“It was an all-round fun day.”
Although Mrs Atkinson did not get to see many events because she was busy behind the scenes, she said there were no problems.
“It was a vibrant atmosphere,” she said.
“No problems were reported to me.”
Mrs Atkinson said the motorbikes were a fantastic addition to the show.
“They were absolutely brilliant,” she said.
“The crowd enjoyed them as well.
“I am sure they will be back.”
The ute show, which was introduced to the schedule this year, was also a hit.
“It looked great,” Mrs Atkinson said.
“The truck show on Sunday was fantastic as well.
“People put in an enormous amount of effort and came from everywhere.”
Mrs Atkinson said more than 2000 entries were on show in the pavilion, close to the most ever entered.
“That is a lot of entries,” she said.
“That was from jams and cakes to flowers and jewellery.
“The junior section was big, which is good.
“We really encourage juniors to enter.
“The kids do a great job.”
Despite the rain, the rodeo still went ahead on Saturday afternoon.
“The only event that was cancelled because of the weather was the last motorbike display at 6pm,” Mrs Atkinson said.
Show treasurer Lindsay Boyton said the gate count was roughly 1000 people down on last year.
“The rain on Saturday afternoon contributed to that,” he said.
The show committee has already started planning the 2016 event.
