The seven available positions can be filled by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live, work or study in Eurobodalla and have a connection to their community.
Committee chair councillor Gabi Harding said it was part of council’s commitment to working with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the committee provided advice to the council on issues that affect them.
The committee meets four times a year at council’s administration building in Moruya and committee members must be willing to attend all four meetings. Transport can be provided.
