The St Peter's Anglican College, Broulee, student received an exemption to sit her exams over two years.
Despite a serious illness, Tatjana persevered through Year 12, sitting her final exam, Music 1, on Monday.
“It’s great to finish for the year, but I only sat two exams this year and I will sit the rest next year,” Tatjana said.
“I have been sick with glandular fever this year and so my HSC has been split over two years.”
Tatjana was one of two students at her school to sit the aural music exam, where students identify pitch, melody, intervals, chords and other basic elements of music.
Tatjana said the four questions were unexpected.
“The questions were not as straight forward as I thought they would be, but it was still a good exam,” she said.
“It was different to other exams, because we spend the first half an hour listening to a musical excerpt and then we complete the questions.”
Tatjana hopes to go to study music at university.
HSC written exams will continue at Eurobodalla schools until November 5.
