Dubbed AAA the album is a collection of acoustic interpretations of fan favourites including ‘20 Good Reasons’, ‘In The Summertime’, ‘Someday Someday’, and ‘Mousetrap Heart’.
With over 200,000 album sales under their belt, a finalist for APRA Song of the Year for '20 Good Reasons' and three ARIA nominations, Thirsty Merc have found their way into the fabric of Australia's musical landscape.
Frontman Rai Thistlethwayte said he couldn't believe it had been 10 years since they released their debut!
"We want to say a really big thanks to our fans – they've been amazing. This Merc-tober we'll play this album live on tour and throw in a few newbies too."
The band will be taking the Acoustic Anniversary Album on the road touring all corners of Australia this spring.
As part of the tour, they will be at the Granite Town Jazz Festival in Moruya on October 18.
