Ms Roy has been working full-time and studying full-time. A year and a half ago she moved to Canberra.
“I travelled every week to continue with my course here,” Ms Roy said.
“The people, my tutors and classmates, brought me back.”
Head tutor Dr Fiona Whitelaw was a big influence on Ms Roy.
