The rain cleared on Sunday April 3 which allowed the final between Bermagui and Moruya to take place at Moruya Golf Club.
The annual competition is played between golf clubs along the far south coast from Mollymook to Eden. There are five players on a team, and each competitor plays a round of golf against a member from the opposition club. After 18 holes, the team with the most individual wins is declared the winner.
Moruya Golf Club were 4-1 winners on the day. They had to progress through four rounds and a semi-final before making the decisive match.
The Moruya Team consisted of team captain Gavin Fitzgerald, Brent Hull, PJ Grant, Tom Heffenan and Baily Pearson-Perryman.

Mr Fitzgerald said the result was a huge relief and that the whole team was "so pumped".
He said he was proud to represent Moruya and to win the competition with some young talented players.
"The future of Moruya Golf Club is bright," he said.
Mr Grant is 18-years-old, Mr Heffenan 16, and Mr Pearson-Perryman 15. The competition was the first time Mr Heffenan and Mr Pearson-Perryman played first division.
All three played "exceptionally well" according to Mr Fitzgerald.
Mr Hull - superintendent of the club for 25 years - has played in the competition 23 our of the last 25 years.
Mr Fitzgerald said that to finally win the competition after competing in it for so many years was a fantastic feeling.
The Far South Coast District has three divisions, and Moruya Golf Club won the overall club championship for best performing team across all divisions.
