The number of active cases remains at 24 in the Eurobodalla Shire, (23 in Batemans Bay and one in Narooma).
However, 14 new cases were reported elsewhere in the district.
On Tuesday, September 28, the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) provided the update:
- Five new cases are in Goulburn - four are linked to known cases and one is under investigation.
- Nine new cases are in Queanbeyan - eight are linked to known cases and one is under investigation.
"This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 132 since the start of the current outbreak in June," a SNSWLHD spokesperson said.
SNSWLHD has been notified of new venues of concern associated with the new COVID-19 cases at Goulburn and Queanbeyan. Visit the SNSWLHD Facebook page or website to see the full list of venues.
"Everyone in the district should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19, including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever," the spokesperson said.
"If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received."
Further north, the Shoalhaven has reported 10 new cases.
