Unit commander Trevor Bennett said it was fortunate no life-threatening calls came in.
In the afternoon, they tended to a tree that had snapped earlier that day and landed on the roof of a Mossy Point home. It took crews more than four hours to remove the tree.
Mr Bennett said the home was unoccupied as the owners lived in Canberra.
