Tuross Head men's golfers competed in an 18 hole par event on Saturday and Brenden Taylor was the runaway winner with a high score of plus 7.
Darren Willmouth score of plus 4 saw him fill second place with Paul Ferguson, Martin Booth and Michael Elfar, all finishing with plus 2, taking out the remaining award positions.
Balls were awarded by Tony Russell, the event sponsor, down to a score of minus 2.
Nearest the pins were won by A grade golfers Ron Rogers on the 4th hole, Mark Connor on the 6th and Ken Brown on the 7th hole.
B division golfer Bruce Lidbury won the 4th hole and Peter Hogan won the 6th.
Mick Elfar was the best of the C grade players winning the 4th and Mike Allen won the 6th.
Thursday's medley stableford competition was won by Glen Shearer with an excellent score of 43 points ahead of Ian Manton 39, Robert McDonell 37 and Ashley Greenwood 35 points.

On Tuesday, 25 February, 21 ladies participated in a stroke event, the sponsor of the day, Chris Wratten.

CATALINA LADIES Results 19 February 2020
An excellent day for golf - temperature bearable, no mosquitoes and a few sticky diptera (flies) - just a little long grass in the rough and a lot of variance in the speed of the greens. The course was heavy and a little slow, not much run. Bunkers? Try not to get involved. Today 70 Ladies combined for the first round of the Foursomes Championships. The players today were divided into two divisions, the results are as follows:

NEWS - If you want to see a perfect swing (and who doesn't), google MICKY WRIGHT. She died earlier this week at age 85. She won 13 majors and 82 LPGA tournaments in her career.
Seventy Ladies completed the final round of the Ladies Foursomes Championship on 26 February.
Some difficulties were experienced by players on the 15th and 17th holes as both are undergoing repairs and maintenance. However, despite this, good results were achieved by the ultimate winners.

Tuross Head Vets Golf Results for 26 February 2020
Under threatening skies another great field of 64 players registered for todays Par event. Winner on the day was Ray Downey with a score of +5. He led home 3 players on +4 with count backs determining the order as Ross Hendy, Les Johanson and Gail Rogers.
Balls or chocolates went to Richard Kelly, Stephen Crossling and Chris Wratten on +3, Rick Brake, Sandra Hanlon, Richard Wharton, Des Jackson, Allen Lee and Terry Challender on +1, and to Greg Bush, Ken Hush, Len Rogers, Ian Manton, Jeanette Miller, Ross Davidson, Warren Hodder and Margaret Downey all on square.
Today's Bradman award was a 4 way count back affair with Steve Collins winning out. Nearest the pins went to Ken Hush on the 4th, Graham Moore on the 6th, and to Michelle O'Brien (a visitor) and Ken Brown on the 7th. Sandra Hanlon won the Accuracy drive.
