A fast paced hilarious farce based in France provides for a fun filled and entertaining play.
It's Paris, 1936 and Henry Saunders is producing the concert of his life to a stadium of 30,000 people. Three famous tenors, one wife, a lover, a daughter with a secret, an over enthusiastic bellhop, 30,000 people and a temperamental conductor - what could possibly go wrong?
With three hours to the start of concert, a secret liaison leads to a misunderstanding which starts the unravelling of all the things Henry has put together.
The result is mayhem on an operatic scale, and a grand concert very different from Henry's plans.
Producer Anthony Mayne gave credit to artistic director, Linda Heald, "for her skill and passion for theatre".
"You know a play is funny when your stage manager cannot stop laughing during rehearsals" Mr Mayne said.
Formed in 2016, this is the fifth production by the Red Door Company, with performances at the Moruya Golf Club, the Narooma Kinema and at St Peters College Broulee.
The next performance is at the Narooma Kinema on Sunday, November 24, at 2pm.
Tickets are available at the door, or online at South Coast Tickets or at Moruya Books.
