Systems went down on Tuesday night, when a lightning strike at a power transmission station caused a knock-on power outage at Telstra’s Nowra exchange.
“There were disruptions to a range of Telstra services including ADSL and 3G and 4G mobile coverage, along the NSW south coast,” a Telstra spokesman said.
“Services between Eden and Wollongong were impacted.
“Our technicians are on site and services are being progressively restored.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused to our customers.”
