Several Eurobodalla Canine Club members travelled to Bermagui to compete in Dog Obedience and Rally O trials on the long weekend, with some of our trainers and their dogs gaining titles and placing in the competitions.
In the competition ring, Helen Rand and Holly gained their third pass at CCD level, 2nd place and their Title. This makes it two titles for Helen and Holly during the past month. Lyn Watcham with Molly gained their 6th pass at Rally Masters and with Issy gained their 5th Rally Excellent pass, 2nd place and their Title. Susan Matthews and Teddy came first in Utility Dog class and have gained their second pass at this level. One more pass and they have their title at this level.
Term 3 obedience classes start on Wednesday, June 12, starting at 6.30pm at the Moruya Showgrounds. Our classes are conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where dogs learn to socialise with other dogs in a calm way. It’s a terrific way to get out and about, learn new tricks with our dogs and enjoy the wonderful outdoors, so rug up in your favourite beanie, weather-proof shoes and jacket.
All handlers and dogs are most welcome to join our Club. Dogs must be fully vaccinated and the relevant paperwork is required when joining. Inquiries can be made by calling Magda Smyth on 4471 1440.
