Moruya Women
The Moruya/Tomakin Challenge was held on Friday, May 5, at Moruya.
The three teams were: Team 1 - Maree Larkin, Beth Whittington and Nicky Hardie.
Team 2 - Trish Hohan, Carol Harraway and Joan Lotze.
Team 3 - Erica Strahan, Patty Manning and Sue White.
Moruya won with an over-all score of 96 to Tomakin 55. Congratulations on winning the shield. A lovely morning and afternoon tea was enjoyed by all.
Last Thursday the final of the Club triples was played. Margaret Sillett, Dawn Callender and Sue White defeated Maree Larkin, Monica Mulcahy and Nicky Hardie in a very exciting game, 18 - 17.
Malua Bay Women
There were 43 social bowlers on a beautiful sunny, autumn day.
Congratulations to Joan Lubbe, who defeated Yvonne Huddleston in the final of the Major Singles. Well done to the Grade 3 Pennant teams playing Zone finals in Merimbula. Although they didn’t win overall, they did us proud.
Social bowls winners on lowest margin +2 were Tricia Wheeler, June Williams and Karen Signor. Runners-up on highest margin and a count back were Gayl Vidgen, Dorothy Stewart and Rae Fayle.

Friendly Friday
There were 28 keen bowlers but the match was called off after six ends due to heavy rain. Money club winner was Ian Backhouse. Jackpot now at $150. All affiliated bowlers are welcome to Friendly Friday. Names by 9am, on the greens at 10am. Dress is casual.
Malua Bay Sunday Sippers
Two triples games and two pairs games were played by the 20 lucky bowlers.
The winners were Risto Jokiinen, Helen Szendeleit, led by Peter (what's wrong with my thongs?) Hutchinson. Lucky losers were Anna Sawyer and Bill Cox, by 1.
