Motorists can expect changed traffic condition on the Princes Highway at Hughes Street (near the Caltex Service Station and Repco) on Monday, May 1 and Tuesday May 1, while work on a concrete median, new line markings and new signs takes place.
During work hours (9am to 3pm), Hughes Street will be closed at the Princes Highway for right turns into Hughes Street and all turns out of Hughes Street.
Motorists will still be able to make left turns into the street.
Detours will be in place via Gregory and South streets and the Old Princes Highway.
The works will are expected to improve the sight distance for motorists turning right out of Hughes Street onto the Prince Highway, with the hold line from Hughes Street moved forward.
