The works will take place on the Murra Mia Walkway on the Batemans Bay promenade, commencing on Monday, March 27. Work is expected to take two weeks to finish.
The council has advised pedestrians to take care in the area.
“There may be some restrictions to pedestrian movement during the works and the council asks that people obey signage and take care around the work area,” a council spokesperson said.
“The project will move the sewer main from private to public land to allow for an approved development on the waterfront, anticipated to start in the near future.”
