Resuming at 3/37, the seconds had some work to do to reach the target of 150.
Not out batsmen Sam Lee and Matt Sethi got them back on track, combining for a 41-run stand before Sethi fell for 25.
Lee continued briefly with Lachlan Paterson (17) and Praveen Varghese (4), before he too was dismissed, caught off bowling of Matthew Bell for 60, leaving the Bay at 7/144.
Any faint chances of a Bomaderry victory were extinguished by young Luke Condon, who scored an unbeaten 53 to guide his side past the Bomaderry total and leave them at 9/229 after 78 overs.
Saturday was also a good day for the Bay thirds, as they dismantled Culburra by 159 runs at Hanging Rock Oval.
The side briefly continued batting at Hanging Rock, before declaring at 9/245.
In response, Culburra only had two players make it to double figures, as the Bay bowlers orchestrated a middle order collapse to dismiss the side for just 86 runs.
Mark Templeman led the charge with 3/12 off 5.1 overs, while captain Pat Griffin chimed in with 2/2 off seven.
The thirds weren’t as lucky on the Sunday as they went down by one wicket Shoalhaven Ex Servicemens in their one day semi final.
Chasing 178 for victory, Shoalhaven reached the target with four balls remaining in the innings.
