After the Christmas and New Year break we have started on Monday January 2, 2017 with the Men’s bowling again.
We are wishing all Committee and members a great new year.
A total of 52 Bowlers turned up that day and the winners of the pairs game were Dick Pooley and Steve Hall over the runners-up Adam Pooley and Gerry VanderMeij.
The jackpot was not won and remains at $500.00.
On Thursday January 5, the triples game were won by Fred Burggraaf , Ken Higgins ,and Henry Butler over the runners-up Dick Pooley and Tony Robertson.
On Saturday January 7, the Moruya-Tomakin challenge was played at the Tomakin Bowling Club.
On this very hot and windy day Moruya game up trumps with a winning score of 159-113.
Our Vice-President Gary Chapman handed over the trophy and congratulated them again with a great win.
On Sunday January 8, the minor singles first round was played and the winners were: Gary Chapman, Cliff Hill, Adam Pooley, Stewart Megee, Ernie Smith and Robbie Richardson.
TWIST-TOPS
On Sunday the first of January 2017 - 44 bowlers joined us on this very nice day and the winners of the lowest winning margin were Ross Miller, Chris Marsden, and Jeanette Pooley over the Runners-up Nene Siau, John Signor and Sue Gregory.
The breakfast Trays were won by Michael Voce and Ross Miller.
The Monthly Wally award went to Henry Butler because he knocked his first beer over in the new-year .
The Richard Cranium award went to Brian Wheeler because he asked Steve Hogan if he is going to put a “Blocker” in , Steve said “Why would I do this Brian”,
I don’t have any bowls left.
On Sunday the 8th January 2017 the winners of the day’s game with the most winning ends were Neil Power and Jo Harding from runners-up Bob Starkovski and
Flo Young.
Breakfast tray winners were Steve Hogan and John Signor.
The Richard Cranium award went to Robert McGregor for measuring with his bowling-arm.

didn’t stand a chance , whenever they had a winning shot Allan came in to spoil the fun .
