The team will play in division three against 18 teams from across the state over three days.
Coach Kerrie Mars says the team has trained twice a week since February and the hard working is paying off.
“Everything is starting to come together,” she said.
“I think they’re a little bit nervous but they’re getting there.
“Excited and nervous at the same time.”
Saturday June 25 saw the Under 12’s beat the Rippling Waves intermediate team, 22 goals to 20 in Broulee.
Ms Mars said the team has done well in regional carnivals and is confident that will continue at the State Age Championship.
“I’m hoping we get a few wins under our belt,” she said.
“If we get top ten that’s a bonus.”
