Store manager Amanda Wright wants to get the word out that the trolley is available.
“It allows parents and carers and the disabled to enjoy their shopping experience like everyone else, which is important because it can be really difficult.”
“Feedback from customers said it was wanted and we have signs up about it, but we have not had any users yet,” she said.
The trolley can strap in someone up to 70 kg in weight.
Geoff Fielding of disability advocacy group The Bay Push said it was “absolutely fantastic that a national company would look after people less fortunate.”
