At a meeting on Sunday, Maloneys Beach residents reached a unanimous decision of rejection towards recent council decisions.
About 43 people attended the meeting to discuss the implementation of the sea-level rise policy and proposed rates increase.
All of those who attended the meeting rejected council’s decisions to approve the sea-level rise policy and response framework and to apply for the rise.
Maloneys Beach Residents Associa-tion secretary Peter Hickman said the community had no confidence in the council.
“They don’t have the ability to make a decision to benefit the community,” he said.
The association has forwarded a letter detailing its resolution to Eurobodalla councillors.
