Batemans Bay won the toss and elected to bat on a clear afternoon but struggled early as openers Chad Salmon (9) and Brett Woolridge (3) were dismissed with the home side at 2/12.
Jamie Prior (4) and Paul Windsor (5) were in next but failed to shore-up the top order and Batemans Bay was reeling at 4/27.
The Bay’s number five Mark Reidy started to tick the score over for his side but the batsmen around him kept finding ways to be dismissed.
Shaun Creswell (5), Petri Patrika (4) and Lindsay Worne (3) departed and when Reidy (25) was caught Batemans Bay was 8/66.
Matt Ryan (9 not out), Chad Pickett (9) and Scott Nicholls (0) had more than half of their side’s overs to bat but Ulladulla had other plans, bowling both Pickett and Nicholls.
Batemans Bay finished all out for 88 after just 17 overs, less than half of its allotted 40.
In reply, Ulladulla wasted no time in its chase and finished on 4/90 after 17 overs.
Reidy was the Bay’s only multiple wicket-taker with 2/39 from eight over while Ryan (1/37) and Creswell (1/12) chipped in with one each.
Batemans Bay sits seventh on the one-day ladder and lines up against eighth-placed Bomaderry at Bomaderry Oval on Saturday.
